Academic & Career Readiness for Teens (Ages 13–18)

Our Academic & Career Readiness program is designed to equip teens with the tools, skills, and support they need to succeed in school and prepare for the professional world. Through a mix of one-on-one mentoring, interactive workshops, and real-world exposure, teens will explore academic interests, develop career goals, and build life skills for a successful future.
Program Features
- 1:1 Mentoring Sessions: Personalized academic support and career coaching tailored to each teen's interests and goals.
- Academic Enrichment: Tutoring, study skills, goal setting, and time management.
- Career Exploration: Exposure to various career paths through guest speakers, job shadowing, and internships.
- College & Workforce Prep: Help with college applications, financial aid, resume building, interview prep, and soft skills training.
- Workshops & Events: Regular sessions on topics like leadership, entrepreneurship, communication, and financial literacy.

Congratulations, Alyssa Bain!
Alyssa Bain, a junior at Fairport High School, has been selected to participate in the New York State Unified Court System Student Aide Internship. With a strong desire to learn about the inner workings of our city’s judicial system, Alyssa stood out among many applicants and earned this valuable opportunity.
We are proud of her accomplishment and excited to see where this journey will take her.
